As posted in the  past the format is not always suitable for me unfortunately and I would prefer a more longitudinal competition like play with slightly longer time format (e.g. 30 minutes + 20 or so) instead of a single day event, also because of each others distinct time zones, what suits the one does not always suit the other.

But for such an other type of multiple round competition over time to take place I imagine it would require at least about 6 enthusiasts willing tot take part (see also forum post on the club page at lichess website).

I noticed the number of members of the Certabo International Club team at lichess.org has grown considerably (over 30 members now), which is very ncie! Perhaps there are now more people wanting to play some classical league?

30+30 games, one per week. I am playing that league since 2 years ago. Next season (25th edition) will begin in two-three weeks.

Anyway, you can play millions of course, also outside of the licehss leagues, so it is not the end of the world, but really an unfortunate story.

Theoretically I (or perhaps a we) could also form a team with anyone and start playing in he bottom of the bottomest league of (how is it called?) the Bundesliga, which is an competition system for teams on lichess with promotions and relegation from numerous division levels, the higher levels needing mroe people per team then the lowest (the lowest 6 If I am right). However these were just some thoughts. I have no serious current plans to do so, but it is a possibility.

Thank you very much for organising new tournament that is great and as usual we are glad to add a prize to it.

So among all partecipants will randomly extract a prize which can be a bag or BT module all the names will be put on wheel of names and randomly extract a winner. Last bag went to Spain where next will go to?

Hi Pietro,

 

Does this mean that we copy the main.exe file only into the existing Certabo folder on our C drive, or must we copy the engine folders etc. too?

Also, will we need a new token for Lichess?

It should not needed either to create new token as it will be taken by local setting I reckon. But you can try just unzip go in dir and double click on main.exe.
