Hi Chessfriends,
I would like to check with you if this use-case can work on an e-board at all. It is not a deal-breaker for me, but I'd like to know if the Certabo board can be used in the following way:
- I start a game with the board and one of the engines in the DaVinci. Probably a low rating game with long or unlimited timecontrol.
- During this game, I wish to have a break for maybe a day. During the break I want to play an online game on lichess.
- Can I play the second game and later return to the first game in a simple workable way? For example by saving the game and restoring it later, even if I used the DaVinci module to go online for the second game?
The pause and break mode is often supported by other platforms than chessplaying. Any modern mobile console and other mobile platforms support saving and restoring later.
I can imagine though that playing chess does not automatically support this. However, me playing the DaVinci, I don't see an objection to pause the game, as there is no person waiting for me and I have no time advantage. There is no one to cheat. And yes, I could be meanwhile studying a puzzle or strategy for this specific game development, that should be fine as long as no person is at disadvantage.
Anyways, long story short: does the Certabo board + DaVinci module support saving and restoring at a later moment to continue a game?
Thanks,
Goku
