Hello,
I recently bought the Lucien Brown and I am very pleased with it. It looks fantastic and it's possibilites with the support for different platforms, engines and books are great! I think the modular approach based on open source software is absolutely perfect as it is future proof and allows for enhancing and swapping of any of the components in the future. This and the possibility of software contributions by the community made this my first choice for an electronic chess board.
I am looking forward to what the future holds for Certabo,
all the best from the Baltic Sea,
Paul
Welcome Paul!
By the way: tere are some initiatives to play against other Ceratbo owners (on lichess.org) every now and then if you like.
You might have noticed elsewhere in this forum (or you could join the
Certabo International Club
at https://lichess.org/team/certabo-international-club).
I myself missed yesterday's one and had to withdraw in advance because I could not attend on Saturday morning.
I personally favour a bit more longitudinal competition with one game per week or so, and am less a fan of the arena format, but that's all a matter of personal atste.
Have you considered the nice storage bags?
I wish you a lot of fun, greetings from the Netherlands (since couple of months also a Lucian Brown over here)
