Hi, I am Michiel from the Netherlands. Have been following Certabo for about one-and-a-half year, and recently made the decision to go for it. I just received my Lucien Brown eboard last week. Both beforehand and directly afterwards already had some chats with Pietro/Certabo. The open (source) minded philosophy of Certabo and the very kind and helpfull customer care drew me to this Bologna based Italian company. An eboard is quite an investment for most people (including me) but I had a really good feeling knowing my investment supports these kind people and open company. And the Italian handcrafted boards themselves are really stylish.
At home I exclusively work with linux both on my laptop and PC for about 15 years now (currently with Solus linux as my rockstable distribution having used a couple of others throughout the years as well, amongst them e.g. openSUSE, Pardus linux). With some additional instructions by Pietro I had the eboard and the software running both offline as well as connected to lichess.org in no time, excellent. I will keep follwing the tips and tricks and news in this forum as well as elsewhere (e.g. on the chess.com forum there is also an extensive thread covering all sorts of aspects of Certabo eboards).
Have fun with your Certabo eboard all of you.
