Mods, scripting and download section

Dear Certabo team

Is the nano planned to be in the download section? is a new version in progress?

I started some personnal mods (defaul engine, default or additionnal leila levels, screen adjustment such as my name rather than "human" ) which is basic but my personnal needs is to implant a save and send pgn version of the game each time the stop order (2 kings off) is given to nano.

furthermore, is it possible to implant a kind of "external script branchment" as soon as a main remote order is given (start, stop game, halt nano ....) to help implantation of mods?

My Nano is on the way. When it arrives, I'm planning on implementing mods too, like I did for the 4.5 Certabo SW and for DaVinci.

Perhaps we can share a bitbucket repo and unite our efforts?

@elia Yes sure that is a good idea Dirk @dsommerfeld has already done some modifications to select different Elo i will create a Github repo so can work from that. Dirk you may push your modifications i will anyhow add them as separate file. There are some suggestion we collected i will share them soon with some idea how to implement. One was to turn the device into BT will push also separate repo for that.

Hi all,

sure, I will upload my mods to the repro.

What I did:
change the depth of thinking to 1, other one the maja networks don't work right in their elo space
Adding changing maja networks 1100- 1900 Elo with the black queen in the 6th line
install samba to add a folder to my window pc to fetch pgn files:

open: write a pgn file in the moment two kings have left the board.

@dsommerfeld could you please push your changes into the git repo? Or at least upload the modified .py files so I can diff them and upload to github myself?

My Nano has finally arrived and I'm looking forward to modding it, but I wouldn't want to invent the wheel and implement the changes you and @alain already have done.

Hello guys (already sent pm to Elia) fyi the modification made from Dirk was already in a file under utils/remote_control_DirkMod.py if you want to run those just rename in remote_control.py replacing the original one an Dirk modification shall apply.

Hi all, sorry for the big delay. I got in some healthy trouble. First with a long covid issue and last I was 20 day's in a hospital about they found some cancer 🙁

Is there anything in progess now? Did you need my changes or is all obsolate meanwhile?
