Good night,

I have a silly problem but I can't solve it. From the PC, I enter lichess with registered token. As a test, I play against an engine in lichess, it works fine. I try to play against an engine for the second time, it works well. Next, I start a game against an online rival, lichess accepts it and shows it in the browser but my Certabo board continues with the last position of the game against the engine and if I try to put the board with the starting position the LEDs turn on asking to return to the previous position against the engine. What am I doing wrong?

I have tried, twice. The first time it worked fine. I finish the game against the Lichess engine, I place the pieces in their initial position, the LEDs turn on requesting that I return to the previous position, I start a game against an online rival, the LEDs turn off and he lets me start playing.

The second time the error was repeated. It cost me a short ban on Lichess. Attached screenshot and short video of my Certabo. I hope it helps.

Hello Nacho.

Which time have you setted up the game against the human rival? I have seen in the video 5 minutes and the icon (a flame) of a blitz game. Remeber that you only can play rapid or classic games in lichess. Maybe this is the problem. The lights will switch off (and the chessboard will work) when a new correct game starts.

I have done several times the same than you are trying to do and it worked always fine.

Be careful to playing blitz games with the Certabo Online, lichess will ban you as they did with me. You have to use the Certabo program with the api token. For more information read this post:

Hi Nacho

yes exactly Jaume is correct the game you have chosen is not allowed by token you can read in the log ....this game cannot be played by board Api... you may have selected blitz or something very fast. And also check the limitation at the link posted for rated game using only the API version for those.

I thought if I could challenge blitz games, I could play them too. I will try to be more careful with the limitations of the token. Thanks for the solution.
