Ok yes if you burned the DaVinci image it is looking for 3.5" screen if you attach the hdmi it can lock during the boot.

If you want to use with external hdmi screen you need to force it please follow this instructions  i can explain how to do eventually how to switch between the two. Start the pi without the hdmi attached and connect remotely via ssh or vnc

Open terminal and write

cd LCD-Show so will go in that directory and

type sudo ./LCD-hdmi connect the hdmi and

reboot

remember that you need to activate the cursor on hdmi so in davinci folder and  sudo nano start_chess.sh and allow the cursor, removing the relative option which by default is disabling it  if you want to go back to small screen

sudo ./LCD35-show

If you connect via android make sure the port is :1 normally is set to :5900 and can give that error.

Png there is not an actual png viewer but you can load a game and then go back till the beginning if you want to replay from specific position when you reached it going backward.

The BT connection to Pi4 is automatic you do not need to do anything, just connect the BT module to the board wait for 4 central leds to pop up and then start the software selecting BT option on spashscreen.

BT : i haven't the bluetooth module, just the burnt image in my rapsi 4. I 'm still confused because i thought that raspi4 was a kind of reapeater  but it's not (whit my setup) Which setup is required with just a pi, a PC ?

The pi4 found the chessboard and i was able to play with davinci; all is ok (except the question in an other post: stockfish  always play the same opening . for example E4 with performance.bin and if black answer is french defence, it's always the paulsen variation! is there no random choice of opening?

I have to test again arena BTconnection:  after several failed, i succeed in linking Arena with chessboard bay first letting davinci PC find the chessboard (and i suppose writing somewhere the BT BTadress). after the successul connection with da vinci (and closing davinci), arena was able to find the chessboard by BT.

The full support of the pi zero2  comes with the latest Linux upgrade to Bullseye.  With an older OS the Bluetooth and WIFI Interface will be down at in the boot process. To enable this both devices please login your pi as User pi:

sudo nano /etc/rc.local

add this lines  in front of exit 0

rfkill unblock 0
rfkill unblock 1
exit 0

you could also edit this file direct on your sd card, if you dont can't login.
